    • Spectacular landscapes and wild nature of the Hoang Lien mountain range and nature reserve.

Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai

18.00: Meeting with us at Lao Cai station and take the night train to Sapa.

    Day 1: Sapa – Tram Ton – 2,200m – 2,800m Campsite (B, L, D)

Warmest greeting by our local guide at Lao Cai station and transfer to Sapa. Free for relax & have breakfast.

Group meeting for regional information and tour briefing at 08.30 am.

Leaving Sapa at 09.00, transfer by road 16 km to Tram Ton with a stop at Silver Waterfall.

Trekking from Tram Ton(1957m) for about 2,5 hours including some short break to a resting place at 2,200m. This part of the trail is fairly good, not very tough or steep. There are the long ascend which takes from 30 minutes to 45 minutes and three short descend from 5 to 15 minutes. Lunch break at this point, near a little stream.

Afternoon trek gets tougher as the trail winds its way on steep mountain sides through bamboo forest mostly uphill for nearly 4 hours . There are 4 tough ascending which takes from 15 minutes to 40 minutes. Other part of the trail is combination of soft descend, even and gradual ascend.

Arrive to the camp-site at 2800m peak at about 05.30 pm. Relax and free to explore the wild surrounding while supporting team set up tent and prepare dinner.

    Day summary:Transfer 16 km/ Trekking approx.6 hours/ Overnight at 2,800m peak, camping.

    Day 2: 2800m Campsite – Fansipan Peak – Tram Ton – Sapa (B, L, –)

Breakfast and leave the camp-site at 08.00 am for the last portion trek up to Fansipan Peak which takes approximately 2,5 hours. This part is the greatest challenge so far! The trail gets narrower, walled up with many sharp bends: Ascending for 40 minutes from the camp, then descend for 30 minutes and then ascend again all the way up for over an hour to the peak. Congratulation! At 3,143m high, great view of a vast region westwards to Lai Chau, eastwards to Lao Cai…even further to China and Dien Bien Phu are all in the sight.

The way back is easier and it takes only 1,5 hour back to the camp-site for lunch. Take a short rest and then leaving the campsite at 2.00 pm along the same trail and arrive back to Tram Ton at about 5.00 pm. Picked up and transfer back to Sapa.

Early nextday about 4.30 am, we arrive to Hanoi, end of services.
