  Itinerary

   

  Night 01: Hanoi - Laocai - Train

  We will catch the overnight train soft sleeper with AC to Lao Cai. The train leaves at 19.30 from Hanoi railway station 

  Day 1: The minority people Maket ( B,L,-)

  Meeting our guide at Lao Cai Train Station in the early morning,have breakfast at local restaurant

  We go by car in two hours to Can Cau or Pha Long Market on Saturday//Bac Ha or Muong Hum or Muong Khuong Market on Sunday// Coc ly Market on Tuesday// Cao Son Market on Wednesday// Lung Khau Nhin or Tam Duong Market on Thusday

  ( Non market on Friday only)

  This is a colourful market situated in a small village in the mountain. You will see several different minority groups here but mainly the Flower H'mong, Red Dzao,  Lu, Lao, Black Dzao, Tien Dzao, Red Hmong, Dzay, Black Thai…people. The local people come here not only to buy and sell clothes, vegetables, meat and cattle but eat and drink wine together as well.

  After visiting the market,  we will have a trek to Ban Pho village (Flower H'Mong people) or Nam Pung village (Ha Nhi ethnic group) or  Ban Hon Village of Lu & Thai people. In the village we can have a look in their house and understand little more about their lifestyle and traditional customs.

  Special if time permit we go on a boat on the Chay River with beautiful mountains on both sides. On the way we will have a short trek to Trung Do village ( Tay ).This is a unique opportunity for you to the see the traditional lifestyle of tribal minorities and their costumes and handicrafts. Arrive in Sapa in the late afternoon. Check in Hotel.

   

  Day 2: Sapa-Lao chai-Ta van-Sapa-Lao cai (B,-,-)

  After having breakfast in a hotel we embark on a lovely trek that will take us along buffalo paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages Lao Chai & Ta Van, home to Black H'mong, and Dzay people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet.  Once on the valley floor you can really appreciate the wonderful scenery that surrounds you. The walls of the valley are covered with multi-layered rice terraced fields and scattered villages. Return to Sapa and Lao Cai railway station by car (AC). The guide sees you off there and takes you on the train.

  Early nextday about 4.30 am, we arrive to Hanoi, end of services
